Dear Friends of The Family,

Thank you for keeping the ministry of The Family of Faith Lutheran Church and Preschool in your prayers during these days of distress. The COVID-19 virus has challenged our community, as well as our world. I assure you that you are in our prayers.

We at The Family of Faith have voluntarily followed the government’s guidelines regarding COVID-19. We have made this choice knowing that the guidelines require us to forgo some of our most cherished liberties – namely, our religious liberty and the freedom to peacefully gather.

*Beginning Sunday May 31 we will resume worship services in our sanctuary.

The Bible teaches us that God will never leave us nor forsake us. We also learn from Jesus that God provides our daily bread. Thank you for any consideration you may be moved to offer.

In Christ’s service,

Rev. Dr. Douglas Krengel

About Us

Our Vision

We have a vision for our community: to be a place to call home for everyone. The Family of Faith is a place to call home for people gathering in Christ, celebrating in worship, reaching out in love, and extending God’s forever kingdom.

Our Purpose

We have a purpose for our ministry: to bring people to Jesus and membership in his family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church, and their life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.

Core Strategies

We believe the Lord has called us to serve families as one united church family. We believe Christ wants his kingdom to grow in two dimensions: spiritual depth and numerical breadth. We believe that the Lord wants to reach others through our ability to serve God and others. We believe God wants us to serve a multi-generational, multi-cultural community on multiple sites.

Cora Nash

It is my honor and privilege to serve as your preschool director since 2012. I have been an active member at The Family of Faith since 1997. Being here is God’s calling on my life. I’ve been able to serve in all roles here at our Christian preschool and have given it all for His glory to shine through our school. My previous experience includes work at technology companies such as WorldCom, Fugro and Entelligence. I am a graduate of the Texas A&M class of 1991 – Whoop! I’ve been married to my husband, Rick, since 1991, and I’m mom to Nathan and Sofia and mother-in-law to Caleb Swan. Most important, I am a daughter of the King and I love Jesus. I am so grateful to serve here and look forward to the amazing things God does in the lives of our families, children and community!
