At The Family of Faith we seek to teach children about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, nurture their relationships with each other and with our congregation, and equip their families to walk in their faith journey together.

We teach kids about God in Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School, summer camp, Christmas camp and children’s retreats (such as at Camp Lone Star).

We also offer events to bring families together such as dance nights and movie nights, plus special events like our Easter egg hunt, Trunk-or-Treat and Big Splash Bash.

We encourage families to bring their children to worship.

A children’s play area is located in the sanctuary.

A quiet children’s area adjoins the sanctuary and includes a changing table, glider rockers and a private place for nursing mothers.

Children's Church

During each church service, parents and children worship together for the first 10 minutes of the service. Afterwards, children are invited to come up to the altar for a Children's Message. This is special Bible-based instruction from Pastor Doug, made just for kids. After the Children’s Message ends, children can leave the sanctuary with a teacher and attend Children's Church where teachers expand on the lesson for the day. Children's Church finishes before the end of worship and children return to their parents in the sanctuary for the last five minutes of the service. This process allows the family to worship together and provides children with age-appropriate instruction.

Each summer, our congregation hosts an opportunity for Christian education known as Vacation Bible School (VBS). Families can register their preschool through fifth-grade children to join us for fun activities, games, crafts, snacks and Bible study.
