The Bible teaches us that marriage is a sacred trust between one man and one woman. All couples seeking marriage are encouraged to participate in several pre-marriage meetings with Pastor Doug. Pastor Doug is a trained Prepare-Enrich Marriage Facilitator. After completing the pre-marriage meetings, the couple is invited to plan the Service of Holy Matrimony with Pastor Doug. Requests for marriage are considered on a case by case basis.

Funerals and Grief Share

The Bible teaches us that those who grieve are to be consoled with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, Christian funerals are offered at The Family of Faith. Grief Share is a grief support group open to the community. The leaders of Grief Share have themselves experienced loss, and they desire to help others navigate the stages of grief.

Holy Baptism

The Bible teaches us that baptism is for all people. Therefore, people as young as infants and throughout the lifespan are invited to be baptized one time in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. A pre-baptismal meeting with Pastor Doug is encouraged. Requests for baptisms are considered on a case by case basis.

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, died on the cross to pay for our sins in full. This is the most selfless act in the history of the world. Because of the cross, God offers us all the free forgiveness of sins, true life and eternal salvation in heaven.

Lutheran Church Missouri Synod

“Synod” is a term that means “walking together." The LCMS is a long-standing Christian denomination that teaches classic conservative Christianity. The Family of Faith Lutheran Church is glad to be a member-congregation of the LCMS alongside more than 6,100 other congregations located throughout the United States.

Lutheran Church Service

We offer a weekly Lutheran church service at 9:30 a.m. at our Copperfield location and at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays we hold a prayer service at our Miramesa location. Our praise team plays contemporary worship music, and Pastor Doug shares a sermon and Children's Message for little ones.
